How much does 3D scanning cost in Boca Raton and South Florida?
All View As Built projects begin with a $299 base rate. Additional pricing is typically based on square footage and service type: about $0.10 to $0.15 per sq ft for real estate, $0.12 to $0.18 per sq ft for commercial, and about $0.20 to $0.25 per sq ft for construction documentation, depending on access and complexity. These ranges apply to typical on-site work in our primary South Florida coverage area.
How is square footage counted for pricing?
For most projects, the per-square-foot portion is based on the interior area we scan and deliver under the agreed scope—including multiple finished levels when those levels are part of the job. Unfinished space, exterior-only work, partial buildings, or unusual layouts may be estimated differently. We confirm how square footage is applied when you book or when we send a quote so the total matches the walkthrough and deliverables you want.
What does the $299 base rate cover?
The $299 base is the starting project fee before the per-square-foot portion. It typically covers on-site 3D capture, processing, and the standard hosted delivery workflow for your package (including client portal access where that applies, for the included hosting term). Point clouds, CAD/BIM-heavy scopes, extra return visits, and custom branded web builds are usually quoted separately when they go beyond a standard package.
Is there a minimum size or minimum charge?
Published pricing is structured as the $299 base plus the per-square-foot range for your industry category. There is not a separate hidden minimum on top of that for a typical full-property scan. Very small footprints, partial scans, or special scopes may still use the base plus a proportional square-footage calculation—we put the out-the-door total in writing in your quote.
How soon can you scan, and how fast is delivery after the visit?
Scheduling depends on calendar and property access, but many clients book within a practical short window once the scope is clear. For standard tour packages, we often deliver on a roughly 48-hour average turnaround after the scan (timing can stretch with larger properties or extra deliverables). Share your deadline when you reach out so we can confirm what is realistic.
Do you charge travel fees within South Florida?
Standard pricing reflects typical on-site work in our primary South Florida coverage area (for example Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade). If a site is farther out or requires unusual travel or access logistics, we may include travel or scheduling costs in the quote. Tell us the address and timing up front so we can be accurate.
What can increase the price beyond the published per-sq-ft ranges?
Ranges are a guide for typical access and complexity. Costs can be higher when the job needs restricted access, multi-day capture, hazardous or high-coordination environments, rush scheduling, repeat visits, or outputs beyond the standard package (for example CAD/BIM/point cloud packages quoted separately). We explain what drove the price in the quote.
Do I get a formal quote before booking?
Yes. The pricing page summarizes typical structure ($299 base + per sq ft by category). For your specific property, we provide a written quote that confirms scope, deliverables, hosting term where applicable, and total. Use the contact page with the address, square footage (if known), and what you need.
Are embeds and the client portal included in standard pricing?
Standard packages are built around hosted delivery you can use and share over time, including portal access and embedding options appropriate to the package—aligned with the hosting term included for your project type (for example real estate, commercial, or construction as described on the pricing page). Custom branded sites or deep integration projects may be scoped separately.
Do you offer 3D scanning outside South Florida?
Yes. For larger projects we can sometimes travel beyond our core South Florida region when schedule, logistics, and scope allow. Use our contact page to share the property location and what you need, and we will confirm whether we can take the project on and provide a tailored quote.
Does View As Built include hosting with virtual tours?
Yes. Extended hosting is built into how we price: real estate projects include two years of hosting, commercial projects typically include two to five years depending on scope, and construction documentation projects include ten years of hosting. View As Built invests in its own hosting workflow rather than relying entirely on short-cycle third-party tour platforms, which helps support more dependable long-term access for the projects we deliver.
How are point clouds, CAD, BIM, and as-built deliverables priced?
Those outputs are quoted separately from the standard per-sq-ft tour pricing. Cost depends on deliverable type, accuracy and LOD expectations, site visits, and coordination (for example multi-phase documentation). Share example files or standards you need to meet, and we will scope it in the quote.
